On Friday, September 12th, BL Little Free Pantry was proud to take part in the Movie in the Park event at Charlie Ward Park, hosted by the East Ward Echo Place Neighbourhood Association.
It was a beautiful evening filled with community spirit, laughter, and connection. Families and friends gathered to enjoy a screening of Wicked under the stars, while also supporting local causes that make a real difference.
At our table, BL Little Free Pantry was collecting both monetary donations and non-perishable food items to support our pantry. We were also happy to share toys, stickers, kindness, and laughter with the community — small gestures that help build big connections.
We were grateful to share the space with so many wonderful community partners, including Grand Erie Public Health and Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which was raising funds for Camp BUCKO – a special camp for children recovering from burn injuries.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, or simply shared their evening with us. Together, we build kindness and connection right here in our neighbourhood.
