We’re thrilled to share some exciting news—Gifts of the Heart recognized and thanked us for our contribution to their mission! In their recent kitchen update, they highlighted the role of Ladybug Creations by BL’s Little Free Pantries and La Bottega in providing nutritious food to 250 food-insecure students across nine local schools.
It’s an honor to know that our efforts are making a real impact, helping to deliver quality meals to kids who need them most. This fall, Gifts of the Heart also launched new initiatives to make meal times even more wholesome and enjoyable for students:
- Meatless Mondays 🌱: Every Monday, students now enjoy delicious vegetarian meals, featuring comforting soups, chilis, and more.
- Thursday Baking Program 🥖: The baking team has been a wonderful addition, preparing treats and supporting other teams by making fresh pizza dough and baked goods.
